A way for our local families to help the foster care community by providing beef to foster families when they welcome a new child into their homes. It may seem small, but a little beef goes a long way.

This is a program aimed to restore the dignity of the children entering foster care. They offer numerous services to include an intake center (in certain locations), clothing, items to furnish an apartment for youth close to aging out of foster care, and the Prom Closet so that youth may have nice attire for prom.

PALS helps at-risk young people transition to a successful adulthood. Managed by the Central Plains Center for Services and funded by Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, PALS has helped the youth it serves make significant gains in education, employment status, housing, health and community engagement. Works with youth ages 14-24. Must be a current or former foster youth. The youth’s case worker must be the referral source for all PALS programming, but your FCS can assist in the process:
